GOLI SODA(TAMIL) MOVIE REVIEW by Srinath :

The film was released majorly in TN on Jan 24 by N.Lingusamy's thirrupathi brothers under Rough note's production.

PLOT :-

A Social revenge drama which starts with the fun filled lay work life of 4 orphan boys in chennai koyambedu market. On seeing their struggles, aachi guides them for loan to a person called naidu, who is a big head in that area. He will give his godown to start a hotel in the name of aachi, while naidu's right hand mayilu will also start his illegal activity in the hotel spoiling its good run where the rest forms the unusual clash between them with the aim of establishing their name along with that hotel.

PERFORMANCES(ON-SCREEN) :-

Kishore(pulli), Sree ram(settu), Pandi(sithappa) & Murugesh(kutty mani) are outstanding as we can't seperate them even in distinguishing their performances. All the 4 have their own characterization and the former three of them will have a promising future in cine industry. Naidu(madusudhan) & mayilu(vijay murugan, who is also the art director) showcased their baddie acting according to the maker's imagination. Sujatha(aachi) played a predominant role. Chandni(yamini) is fair & the other girl entertain us as sithappa's crush. Imman annachi(manthiravathi) crackles comedy at right times. Power star srinivasan & Sam anderson's guest appearance takes the fun part much more appealing to the public. Others are as usually limited.

TECHNICAL :-

Editing by antony is fine. Super subbarayn's Stunts are very rough & the sound part in the movie must be appreciated. Vijay milton's Cinematography automatically sets the mood for an engaging watch & EFX's colouring gives a dry yellow look which is the usual colour of chennai slums. Music by arunagiri is hearable only because of the heavy meaningful lyrics and Seelin's Background music is somewhat okay.

DIRECTION :-

Story by vijay milton has everything such as genuine profession, forgiveness & the most important factor that an individual should leave a mark in this world. Dialogues penned by pandiral is natural. The Screenplay by vijay milton is short & also the entertaining elements are packed without much commercial compulsion. His direction worked big  & the simple reason behind that is nothing but 'Reality'.

VERDICT :-

HIGHLY RECOMMENDING ALL TO GRAB THIS SODA !

RATING :-   4/5
