Small budgeted tamil film Manjapai starring Vimal, Rajkiran & Lakshmi menon released in 225 screens all over tamil nadu on June 6. The comedy drama met with average reviews from critics but surprisingly it got a good opening everywhere. In Chennai, it topped the box-office leaving behind kochadaiiyaan to the second spot. It is said to be the biggest opening for a Vimal starrer as he enjoys a good market in B & C centers.
